Abu Dhabi Police will lift patients by isolation capsules
Abu Dhabi Police launched an aeromedical transport system to carry patients with infectious diseases via isolation capsules, as part of continuing efforts by the UAE to counter the proliferation of COVID-19, the first-of-its-kind program.
Isolation capsules … aeromedical transportation system
Colonel Pilot Obaid Al Shemeli, Deputy Director of the Air Wing Department, said Abu Dhabi Police is keen to keep up with the latest developments in line with United Arab Emirates leadership directives, which provide all forms of support to ensure the delivery of the finest services.
Isolation capsules are something creative
Major Doctor Ali Saif Al Dhahouri, an aviation medicine expert, Abu Dhabi Police, hailed the newly introduced operation, saying it is about an automated and detailed isolation program dedicated to transporting patients with infectious diseases from one medical centre to another using an aeromedical transportation system.
Isolation capsules help determine the infectious disease from spreading or passing from one human to another.
On the other hand, the UAE has initiated the second phase of the UAE Resident Return Program. It now ends the obligation for citizens of Abu Dhabi to wait for prior permission to return to the UAE capital abroad.
All guests flying to and from Abu Dhabi on Etihad flights are expected to show a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. They can also get it from a government-approved research facility.
It will also extend to all visitors departing Abu Dhabi from Aug. 16.
