Etihad Airways international health insurance against COVID-19
In the event that a guest is discovered to be infected with the new Coronavirus during the flight, the insurance will cover medical or quarantine expenses when travelling on Etihad Airways, through its initiative of Etihad Airways international health insurance.
In the event that a guest is infected with the coronavirus while travelling outside his home country, international COVID-19 insurance of the Etihad Airways international health insurance will cover treatment costs up to 150,000 euros, as the quarantine costs are up to 100 euros per day if the result is positive for a period of 14 days.

All tickets, regardless of the date of reservation, that is booked between now and December 31 of this year, will be included in the “COVID-19” insurance.

The Etihad Airways international health insurance is valid for 31 days starting from the first day of travel.
Etihad Airways will list 7 additional Arab destinations this weekend
Etihad Airways has included 7 additional Arab destinations on the list of restoring activities and operating flights, starting this weekend, bringing the number of destinations to which actual flights are flying to 67 international destinations.
According to the carrier, it will start on Friday, September 10, 2019, to operate flights to Amman Airport in Jordan, while flights to Casablanca will start from next Saturday and then to the Omani capital, Muscat, on the 16th of this month.
The 4 other destinations were placed on the operating list early next October, including 3 destinations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which are Jeddah, Dammam and Riyadh, with regular flights to Rabat, Morocco, on October 2.

The carrier follows precautionary measures to update travel destinations through its flights, through which predetermined dates have been modified for some destinations, in accordance with the requirements for the prevention of the Corona pandemic and the policies applied by global aviation authorities and travel destinations, in addition to taking into account market conditions, supply and demand for flights.
