Over 3,200 Students Apply To World’s First AI University

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan said “Launching of the world’s first graduate-level artificial intelligence university in Abu Dhabi echoes the UAE’s pioneering spirit, and paves the way towards a new era of innovation and technological advancement that benefits the UAE and a world”.

The world’s first dedicated AI university named Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence is on the way of becoming the ultimate place for students who desire to pursue a career in different fields of AI.

Within the first week since its launch on October 16, the MBZUAI has received admission application of over more than three thousand two hundred graduate students from all over the world.

The majority of applications were received from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Egypt, India, and China. The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence is located in the Masdar City of Abu Dhabi.

The university is named after His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, who strongly support AI and believes that AI is the transformative power of knowledge and scientific thinking.
