For its part, Jordan welcomed the Sudan peace agreement, and the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs emphasized the importance of this step in achieving security, stability and peace in Sudan and meeting the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people for growth and prosperity. She also affirmed that the Kingdom of Jordan stands with the brothers in Sudan in their quest to achieve peace and consolidate sovereignty and independence.
