Cooperation with the “Intesa San Paolo S.A.” group aims to open the way for Emirati entrepreneurs and innovative startups to benefit from the practical use of technological laboratories, industrial technologies, and scientific and commercial consulting at the Italian group’s innovation centers in Turin and Milan, Italy.

The memo includes providing direct financial financing to small, medium and emerging companies for citizens that adopt the three principles of circular and technological economy, along with a number of specialized training programs to raise the efficiency of Emirati entrepreneurs to serve the economic and development trends of the United Arab Emirates.

The United Arab Emirates has sent an aid plane carrying about 10 tons of various medical and preventive supplies to Italy, which will benefit about 10 thousand medical workers, to support it in the face of the emerging Coronavirus (COVID-19).

This initiative comes within the framework of the United Arab Emirate’s cooperation with countries that witness the outbreak of the new Coronavirus and in order to enhance global efforts to limit its spread.

Omar Obaid Al Shamsi, the country’s ambassador to the Italian Republic, said in this regard: “Since the establishment of the United Arab Emirates, the country has adhered to the approach of giving to countries and peoples in distress and crises. An epidemic has spread in it, which reflects the originality of the humanitarian approach in Emirati politics, in which the leadership and people have always stood by the nations and peoples in difficult times.
