UAE will be Hosting the World’s Biggest Humanitarian Event

“The Possible Dream”

The Emirates’ delegation participating in the 2020 World Economic Forum in Davos made the announcement today.

Dubai will be hosting one the ten simultaneous live events organized by Global Citizen, the international organization that aims to end extreme poverty by 2030.

This Kindness by UAE was great admiration for others to join such as the world’s biggest celebrities together to perform around the world to raise the profile and global effort to eradicate poverty, with expectation of more than 1.5 billion viewers. The theme for Global Citizen this year is under the name of “The Possible Dream”, and will be broadcasted live across streaming and television platforms for ten consecutive hours

At the World Economic Forum UAE delegation declared this news, during the its participation in the “Reimagining the World’s Biggest Challenges” Panel, organised by Global Citizen.

Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammed Al Gergawi stated: “Hosting the ‘Global Goal Live’ event this September reflects the UAE’s humanitarian efforts to eradicate worldwide poverty.

The UAE principle of contributing towards humanity always being high, a vision cultivated by the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed and one that the President, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan who trying to develop upon it.
