In fact, the United Arab Emirates has been able to deliver medical supplies to other countries during the pandemic.

Education goes online during quarantine measures

Thousands of children across the UAE are taking their classes to the internet. Teachers have set up online streaming services that will allow them to teach their students from the safety of their homes.

The UAE is one of the most advanced nations in the world. The infrastructure provided for internet services is considerably better than in many other countries. Connectivity should not be a problem for these students.

Economic stimulus packages will soften the blow of the pandemic.

When people are required to stay inside their homes and their places of work shut down there are always going to be fears of lost jobs and finances. The UAE has announced economic stimulus packages to ease the devastation caused by the Coronavirus.

The stimulus package currently stands at 126 billion dirhams, which is around $34 billion USD.

“Coronavirus is a health virus, an economic virus, and a political virus too… and we say to all the countries of the world: It is the time for unity, cooperation, and solidarity to fight the worst enemy of humankind,” said Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rasheed Al Maktoum during a virtual meeting regarding the economic stimulus.
